On Friday evenings,
Denleys hosts live musical entertainment in the bar.
Our resident
artiste is vocalist Nick Welsman, who appears fortnightly with his popular
hi-tech-backed repertoire of classic pop and rock. Our regular guests
include:
JY Kelly & Slippery Dick: the front men
from the El-Cojones Rock and Blues band, this guitar/vocals duo provides an
inimitable mix of powerful rock/pop with excruciatingly funny risqué
parody.
Alex Harding (aka the Blues Doctor): he
really is! A GP at St Leonard's Medical Practice with a second career as blues
musician.
Karl Arnold and friends: a brilliantly
versatile musician from the band Mad Dog Mcrea, with a repertoire from Irish
through Bluegrass and 70s singer-songwriter material to
folk-fusion.
